Buxton Methodist Church – Room Enquiries

The Church building is conveniently located on the market place in Buxton with adjacent pay and display parking available and good access to the public transport network.

Four separate areas of the Church building may be hired, with access to their own tea and coffee making facilities.
Rooms can be laid out to your requirements by our caretakers using our large number of available tables and chairs.

Our venue is suitable for meetings, training, concerts, children's parties (no Halloween parties please) and exercise groups.

We are also a popular venue during the annual Buxton Festival Fringe.

Three of our four rooms have level access, hearing loops and access to disabled toilet facilities.
Baby changing facilities are available.

Availability and Hire Costs

The hiring period is from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm with all seven days being available (excluding bank holidays)

Hire Costs: Prices are:-

  • £15.00 per hour for the Lower Room
  • £16.00 per hour for the Upper Room
  • £25.00 per hour for the Main Hall
  • £44.00 per hour for the Main Church Area
